We provide a free, confidential and independent Advice and Information service. An integrated approach is taken to provide specialist advice work covering disability rights and welfare benefits. We help people to seek their rights under the Disability Discrimination Act. Equally important is the provision of information and advice to employers and the wider community about rights and responsibilities.

We also provide an extensive generalist information service answering enquiries about access, blue badge parking, education, employment, equipment, health, sports and leisure, and transport. Every year we respond to thousands of enquiries about rights and entitlements and we help claim approximately £1million of welfare benefits for people with disabilities and their families.            

We operate a drop-in service (with a duty Adviser) every week day as well as bookable appointments for help to complete welfare benefit claim forms or detailed enquiries.
